I haven't posted much in a while, let alone what I actually do for a living so I figured it's time to dive back into this summer and post something. It's just so tempting to post the baby boy that has stolen my heart all day long!

This wedding was a friggin party. I'm talking non-stop laughing, eating, hugging, singing, dancing ... the works! I was floored with how kind everyone was in the Bridal Party. They were all so sweet  to each other and their families and you could just tell this wedding was the merging of two families who couldn't wait to be merged! So sweet. I kinda wish it was the summer again so I could re-live this day, but I suppose this post will have to do!

taylor & bracken | first look & formals

Taylor and Bracken have to be some of the most real people I've ever met. They are young, carefree, madly in love, and are kind in a way that's unique for just about anyone. Here, during this shoot, we did a first look and it took place at the Salt Lake Country Club. We then headed to the Salt Lake LDS Temple for more formal photos and finished the evening off right. It was a laid-back shoot, which I was grateful for. They made my job seem less like work and more like kicking back with old pals.

Three months ago Paul and I received the wonderful news he got into Graduate School down in Henderson, Nevada! We were ecstatic to receive the news, especially because this was the answer to our prayers ... plus we needed a change. Big time.

Although I couldn't be more excited to move on with our lives, I am beyond sad to be leaving Salt Lake City ... my home. My parents are here, two of my five siblings are here, nieces and nephews are here, many of my friends are here. Paul will miss fishing and I will miss tree-lined streets. Paul will miss trail-running and I will miss four seasons. Paul will miss Real Salt Lake and I will miss attending General Conference

There are many things we're looking forward to, as well, so it's not all sad! Paul couldn't be more excited to be in school and moving towards a career and life he wants. I can't wait to have yet another place to call home (with Santa Barbara being my second home). We are both excited to eat our way through the diverse eateries and restaurants in Las Vegas! We are also both really looking forward to meeting new friends and making great connections with the wonderful people of Nevada.

Utah, you will be missed. Nevada ... here we come!
