This beautiful San Francisco family had me out to photograph their family with their newest and tiniest addition ... baby Hannah! What a sweet baby she is! I could just sense the joy this family felt to have her with them!

Newborns. They are perfection in every single way. When I went to photograph this tiny 3-week old baby I didn't realize how much I would ache for those long nights and everything that comes with the newborn phase! I melted when I held her in my arms and I actually, momentarily wished Elliot was new again. Like, so new he can't do anything, new. I know every new mom is exhausted, and maybe that's why we can look back so fondly because we all know how tough, yet rewarding motherhood is.

Photographing this little man made my entire week! Owen was (and is) a dream baby because he was all ready for his first photo shoot at only two weeks old! His parents, Tawnie and Scott, were so clearly ecstatic about his arrival, and it was so very sweet to see. And their home ... wow ... it was the perfect setting for their newborn and family shoot.
