Last week, while in San Francisco, I was reminded of my love of sea life! When I used to live in Santa Barbara, CA I used to ride my bike/run/walk along the beach almost every single day and photograph everything and nothing, all at the same time. I especially loved photographing seagulls and pelicans. Bottom line is this seagull caught my attention and I'm pretty sure I caught his, too.
This beautiful family invited me into their lives for a day to document the birth of their second son, Everhett. It was my first birth story here in Las Vegas and it couldn't have been more wonderful. I was in tears, literally, because I loved watching the husband cheer his wife on. I loved watching the mom of soon-to-be Everhett just power through the delivery like wonder woman! It was inspiring to see, that's for sure.
To those of you who know a veteran ... hug them and hold them extra tight today. Support our troops and thank them for their service. What a wonderful country we live in.
MY FIRST WEDDING IN LAS VEGAS! Yup, these two were the ones who first introduced me to what some weddings are like here in sin city! It was complete with an Elvis Impersonator, a Vegas chapel on the strip, and a limousine to take the couple around the town. I loved every moment of this day, especially because the couple were some of the nicest people I've met. They eloped here so I got to have them all to my self the whole day! Again, something I'm not necessarily accustomed to, but it was too much fun to be a part of.
